Interstate Insurance Company was incorporated
in 1989, and has prospered thanks to the vision and
hard work
of
our people.
Initially, our main focus was on passenger transportation
vehicles only including motor coaches, school buses,
transit buses and limousines. Since
then,
we have
expanded into other product lines as well, including
General Commercial and Transportation program for Hawaii
Operations and Truck Programs, Recreation Vehicle
and Marine Insurance. We continue to focus on sound
underwriting and stable growth.

(VIII) by A.M. Best. With annual growth of 20+% and consistent profitability since our
inception in 1989, we continue to meet and exceed our goals. We have 300 plus employees
in 5 offices across the country, including the corporate headquarters in Richfield, Ohio.

National Interstate Insurance
Company (NIIC) was established in Cleveland, Ohio in February
1989. NIIC and its affiliates are licensed in all states
and the
District of Columbia, and currently focus on passenger
transportation, truck, recreation vehicle and Hawaii
general commercial insurance. NIIC is an independently
operated subsidiary of Great American Insurance Company and
Underwriting
Manager for Great American's public transportation and recreation
vehicle insurance programs.
